Most affordable personal diving computer?
Looking for no-frilsl diving computer. What would be the most affordable diving computer?
I recently got my OW certification and after a dozen dives, I'd like to purchase my own. I am looking for a good,solid basic computer.
What is the avg price range? and brands?
Suunto manufacture (imho) the best value dive computer. The entry level "gecko" model is really good (but basic).
I have done around 450 dives on various Suuntos including long decompression, nitrox, deep dives (50m+) and repetitive deep dives with no worries.
Remember that the instruction manuals for all computers say they are only a guide and you should dive to tables!
The choice is realy down to how you like to read the dive info.
