Why does everytime i take pictures of myself diving underwater with my regulator mouthpiece ?

Everytime i go scuba diving i usually take pictures and sometimes my friend she takes pictures of me underwater with my regulator mouthpiece and i post them on flickr. I always get these comments like " wow you suck dick really good " " jeez suckin dat juicy dick huh ? ". Why do i get these comments on my pictures ?? Should i remove the pictures ?

Do you have to be a very good swimmer to do deep sea diving?

Because, I am very interested but I am only an average swimmer. Infact I am below average but very keen to try deep sea diving. I have done snorkling and loved it!

Sammy, you don't need to be super swimmer to be a diver !! the entry level for PADI diver only require you to do free swim with out mask snorkel and fins ( swim google is fine ) for 200 M thats it and if you cannot swim very good, than you also can choose the 2nd choice, with your fins, mask and snorkel but you got to do a 300meter swim..easy right ? everyone can be a diver, the only Q is you wana do it or not and are you comfy with sea water ?

Scuba diving in or near Oswestry?

I am currently living in Stoke-on-Trent but am moving to Oswestry in a few weeks. My boyfriend and I are taking the PADI Discover Scuba course with the Sub-Mission dive centre next week, and I would like to carry on and do further courses once I've moved. I've looked on the PADI website but it doesn't appear that there are any diving centers within 25 miles of Oswestry. I will be travelling back to Stoke every weekend anyway, but it would be great if somebody could tell me of somewhere closer so that I can spend more time training! Please help!!!!

How much does it cost to get a dive tank and regulator certified?

Someone gave me a set. It's older and I'm told they work just fine, but needs to be certified professionally.

It depends on the most recent date you see punched on the sticker on the tank. If it requires a visual inspection ( once a year) it's usually only 20-30 bucks. If it requires both a visual as well as a hydro test, that can get up to 40-50 bucks at most dive shops.
If you do regular business with the local dive shop, some will inspect the regs free of charge, if not, then it's reasonable to expect them to charge you 20-50 bucks for an inspection and basic cleaning. If you need parts...more.
Prices vary widely from shop to shop and how much business you do with that shop. Myself, I never pay for air fills, minor parts or inspections, just for hydros because I do a large volume of business with my LDS.

the pro status for scuba diving goes from divemaster, open water instructor,specialty instructor, master scuba diver trainer, IDC staff instructor, master instructor, and course director. I have a dive shop that can certify me all the way up to a master instructor but i was wondering how much on average is made by each level.. i know theres alot of things involved whether they own their business or if they just go in for someone in teach classes thats why its just a range im looking for each one.. bc i plan on opening a dive shop once i get my open water inst. cert. but i will continue from there to get the rest but im curious how much will be made not that im looking to be a millionaire from this but only make a good living for me and my family

Wow! You should really slow down with these plans. These certifications are important and take lots of time, especially actual dive log time.

I have spoken to many dive shop operators in my area, (west florida), and find that it is not an easy way to make a living. You really do this for the love of diving.

The more successaful outfits, own boats, rental gear. and teach anything from how to swim, on up to the higher levels you mention. Remember, the economy is not the greatest right now, and many of your potential customers are cutting expenses on luxury hobbies like diving.

This is a great idea you have, but "slow down", and anticipate the unexpected first. Many operators lose their as_es in this field. I would suggest going one step at a time, and be certain you have the market to sustain the investments you are considering.
