Scuba Diving?
I was recently in Florida and I went snorkeling. The boat that I was on had about 5 people out of the 20 scuba diving. While snorkeling, I could hold my breath long enough to get down until the pressure got to me. It was beautiful. I live in New York and I am very interested in scuba diving. Can I have some information on Scuba Diving (certifications, equipment, places to go, etc.) please? 
I've only done this once before, but if you want to try it before you get certified, most scuba/snorkel companies will offer some sort of a beginner dive once they teach you the basics. You don't need a license for this. If fact, you need to do this in order to get certified anyway. They provide the equipment if your doing this.
I went scuba diving in St. Barths, and what a view that was. Anywhere in the Carribian is great. If you have the money, go for it.
They teach you to breath in a consistent pattern (basically to not stop breathing), what some basic hand signals mean, how to fill and release air in your air vest (don't know the exact name), and how to make yourself pressurized to the depth you go to. They also tell you what everything is for and such.
I know i'm missing some little stuff but this is what you would expect to start scuba diving.

Oahu Hawaii has many places for scuba diving and location may be the most fascinating diving popular in Oahu is the Hanauma Bay. Hanauma Bay was formed by erosion on one side of a volcano crater and is very well protected from trade winds and navigation is a fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling site in Oahu.
Hanauma Bay clear water and diverse coral reefs are introductions interest in Hawaiian waters and marine environments are rarely considered dangerous to divers.
After Hanauma Bay are the cliffs Koko Head, where the diving takes place almost exclusively on live aboard dive boats Hawaii Kai. The deep blue waters contrast wonderfully here well with white water cascading into the fascinating cliffs wavy dark brown.

Although coverage of live coral is not as high in Fantasy coral reefs are healthy and in good condition and can therefore be considered as one of the best sites for scuba diving in Oahu. Marine life is abundant here with eels, barracudas, octopus, turtles and sharks are often seen.
There are supposedly 4 ships sunk Maunalua to create artificial reefs and the greatest of these is the barge is 165 feet long Kahala.
However, coral growth here is limited, however, the wreck is clogged with fish soldiers doing their distinctive growl when disturbed by divers. Many large eels and crabs can also be found here. There are also sea turtles and white tip sharks making this house reef artificial.
Portlock a mile away, hundreds of meters deep is a plane crash. This is a high-diving accident site in Oahu. The cabin is home to 2 thigh brown large yellowmargin.
Here, the sponge divers bright red color and inlaid Anthias bombed two harems plankton above. Nearby is a colony of garden eels and fascinating dance of large shell helmet with horns. Water visibility is excellent in this area. If you are in Hawaii for a dive site, try these dive sites in the South Shore of Oahu.
