The universities of the country are back in session. There are a multitude of freshmen flood of new office counselor try to understand what is "college". A new crop of seniors are sorting of transcripts to see where there May of "gaps" to be filled so they can graduate in the spring.
This is great news for the degree sought by divers. Anyone seeking a degree from an accredited university are eligible for scuba certification course. In fact, diving can be fun and pleasant meet the physical education and leisure requirements for its Associates or bachelor's degree.
Many schools have long offered Diving sub-program on its campus. Other campus turn to the American Council for Education (ACE) to assist in the standardization of "transfer credits and recommendations of credit to help students receive credits for their educational experience underwater. A university or college may use credit recommendations from ACE in a variety of ways. Credit institutions May apply to their substitute an important required course. They can also use credit as a general election may waive a prerequisite course. Universities and Colleges accepting the recommendations of credit for college courses ACE is often treated as a transfer of credits. Transfer credits are often granted no additional cost. This may reduce tuition costs, while at the same time allow students the opportunity to meet the requirements degrees.
When examining college credit by Scuba experience, students should consult their school counselor secondary. The credit is available to over 15 recreational diving courses (from beginner to instructor), technical diving courses and CPR courses and aid. Once a student has studied the conditions for transfer of credits, his counselor, the training bodies offer many transcripts and other documents that may be provided at school. • Do not rely solely on the submission of a certification card to obtain credit. It is essential that students really understand the personal files of their college. Of course, documents can take time to accumulate, Students must take care of this requirement at least 6 months prior to graduation.
If you are not a certificate diving, contact the Academy of Diving and discuss the various programs College credit offered. This school year is a good time to meet certain requirements of the university and have a good time to learn dive.
