Im trying to connect my guitar to my macbook pro through garage band and to be able to play through my speaker?
I have connected my guitar through my amp to my headphone jack, but the sound only comes through my laptop speakers. is there a way to connect the guitar to my speakers and then my speakers can go in the headphone jack on my laptop?
If your amp has a line out or headphone jack, you could run a quarter inch from there to your macbook and use a quarter inch to eighth inch adapter to plug in to the headphone jack on your macbook. That way, your guitar is still plugged into your amp.
