Why was the US flag upside down in the 1950 series $10 bill?
I had some of these, and I always noticed the upside-down flag, which is used as a signal of distress. So why in the world is it shown that way on the Treasury Building in this series note? I don't know of any other instances of this on US currency.
Its an optical illusion. The flag is not really upside down.
