Dive Watch
What's a good, simple and inexpensive dive watch?
I'm not ready to cough up a pretty penny for a recent model dive computer (which I will do eventually), what do you recommend as a cheap and decent dive watch? Will appreciate two answers -- with and without depth gauge. Thanks.
I work as a dive instructor
i dive to 40 meters
amny of my new students
buy really expensive watches
they look very impressive
I am always
broke
for a joke one year i bought a mickey mouse watch for ten dollars
and dove for over a year with it
it was a good laugh
now i just use a cheap $25 digital watch
it works fine

Fifty fathoms was used by Jacques Cousteau and his divers during the underwater film "Le monde du silence".
The Rolex Submariner diver's watch was presented at the Fair Clock Basel in 1954, which coincided with the development of self-contained underwater breathing, known as diving. In 1961, there were two versions Rolex of the submarine, water resistant to 200 feet meters/660, other, less expensive version, 100 meters/330 feet. Clock was the choice for the character of 007 James in the first ten James Bond films, causing the "Sub" to achieve iconic status.
During the work of the 1960 trade in the oceans and seas created professional organizations needing diving diving watches designed for conducting safe diving operations at greater depths.
