How much does it cost to get a dive tank and regulator certified?
Someone gave me a set. It's older and I'm told they work just fine, but needs to be certified professionally.
It depends on the most recent date you see punched on the sticker on the tank. If it requires a visual inspection ( once a year) it's usually only 20-30 bucks. If it requires both a visual as well as a hydro test, that can get up to 40-50 bucks at most dive shops.
If you do regular business with the local dive shop, some will inspect the regs free of charge, if not, then it's reasonable to expect them to charge you 20-50 bucks for an inspection and basic cleaning. If you need parts...more.
Prices vary widely from shop to shop and how much business you do with that shop. Myself, I never pay for air fills, minor parts or inspections, just for hydros because I do a large volume of business with my LDS.

Diving opens up an adventure that is unimaginable for those with land legs. The wonders that lie beneath the surface of the water are incredible. Ocean and lakes hidden caves and more, those who see things underwater can be imagined from the ground.
Those that start with diving not only advised take courses, which are generally required for rental of tanks, purchase of air and so on. Diving is not a thing that was repeated in 20 minutes either. In fact, even experienced divers continue to take classes or even prefer to teach them to help themselves stay on top of the game. Remember the world underwater does not belong to man, and a solid understanding how to survive is vital.
With proper use of diving equipment such as masks and air tanks, humans can descend into the world where sharks and whales rule, a place of shipwrecks, corral beds, colorful fish and more. But this world is inhospitable and requires a thorough knowledge of security.
The starting point the way to deep underwater takes some time to master. Diving depths usually carry craft of 130 feet or less. The training is not as intense as the deep sea diving since these dives does not generally require decompression stops. When required these stops help push the body to new environmental conditions. For those new to diving, three different certification bodies diving can be executed. The Association Professional Diving, or PADI, is perhaps the best known.
