Dive Gear Equipment
Do many people scuba dive regularly and not own their own equipment?
I went on a day scuba diving trip to the great barrier reef at the start of the year and loved it! But Im putting off doing my certification because i know i wont be able to buy my own equipment untill i finish uni. My question is do many people scuba dive regularly with borrowed equipment, or is it really nessery to own your own gear??
It's a matter of preference and economics. As a general rule of thumb though you definitely want to buy your own regulator, mask, fins and snorkel. You might also want to consider buying your own wetsuit as well if you'll be diving in cooler waters.

Colorado is a landlocked state hundreds of miles from the nearest coast, but you can still enjoy diving, Colorado has a number of lakes and rivers that can offer challenge and fun. A scuba diving vacation Colorado is not as outlandish as you might think. For those who are "hard core" of their diving, lakes, rivers Colorado and are as good as anywhere in the world.
The town that drowned
One of the most interesting destinations for diving in Colorado diving holiday is Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins. In 1946, the federal Bureau of Reclamation chose the site Stout City, located along the river's Poudre. In 1949, the dam was completed and Stout, which was established only seventy years ago as a camp of workers in stone quarries, had to be abandoned. If you have the time and money to go further, however, the good people at the dive shops supply Colorado team can also arrange a scuba diving holiday to other also more exotic destinations.
In any case, must be certified before diving.
