Is it permitted to scuba dive in the Bosphorus straits in Turkey? Has anyone done this?
I would like to know if there are any restrictions on scuba diving in the Bosphorus Straits, or the Black Sea. Does anyone have any experience in diving around the greater Istanbul area?

The straits have heavy sea traffic. I don't know about the rules, but it would be unsafe to say the least.
People do dive around the islands, though. The sea is cleaner, underwater life more vibrant and much more pleasant than diving in the straits.

Full of natural wonders, and offering an almost unprecedented level of marine biodiversity, North Sulawesi has become a world-class destinations Travel ecotourism and adventure in recent years. Nowadays, many divers travel to this remote region of Indonesia, which displays some of the best dive sites that are found throughout Southeast Asia.
The diving submarine in the North Sulwesi focuses on two main areas, the National Marine Park of Bunaken and mud famous diving capital of Lembeh Strait. There other great dive destinations offered in North Sulwesi, including dive sites on the island of Pulau Bangka and Sangihe, however, is the dive sites in Bunaken and Lembeh that attract many divers here year after year.
The Bunaken National Marine Park was created in 1991, and the deep waters of the park to provide the highest levels of marine biodiversity is anywhere in the world. A house for more than 70% of all species of fish found throughout the Indo-West Pacific waters of Bunaken are home to an incredible variety of fauna and flora.
The diving in Bunaken is mainly characterized by nearly vertical walls imposed around the island. Along these walls, a series of cracks, caves and crevices are home to a wide range of fish life during the day and night. The dive sites as Fukui Black Rock and facilitate access to diving with spectacular coral and amazing variety of marine life smaller size.
Lembeh Strait is widely recognized as the capital of the "dirt diving in the world, offering only be described as an experience single dive. The diving itself is shaped by the black sand at the bottom of the ocean in the region that hosts a variety of smaller creatures and marine life. It is for this reason that underwater photographers often choose to make the long voyage to the Lembeh Strait, which shows some the best opportunities for macro photography underwater is in South Asia. Diving is possible in the northern Sulwesi throughout the year, but the best conditions found in late March to November. From January to March, heavy rains and strong winds can be found throughout the region, leaving unfavorable conditions for diving.
Without doubt, the diving North Sulawesi is the highest level, and in the region fully justifies its claim to be a leading dive destinations of Southeast Asian diving. The beautiful dive sites of Bunaken and Lembeh ensure undoubtedly due course by Travel barely, and just think when you come back!
