BCD problems rides up no matter what?
i have a problem with my bcd. its a vest and when i put it on it fits fine but when i swim it rides up and the strap i have that goes around the waist goes up to my chest. i don't fit in smaller bcd's and if i tighten the strap any more it does the same thing but then i can't breath when it gets to my chest so i have to loosen it. what should i do to keep it from riding up or should i just get a back inflator bcd?
You didn't mention the brand and model of your BCD which really would help out a bit more.
If your BCD is weight integrated 2 pockets on the back and 2 quick release pockets in front, then make sure that the bulk of your weights are in the front weight pockets.
If you have what is commonly called a full jacket style BCD (they are not that common anymore) with a cummerbund (wide band of velcro) and a second waist strap with a buckle closure, make sure the velcro is snug and the buckle waist strap is looser. The full jacket style BCD has an air bladder that extends from the back all the to the front (both over the shoulder and around the waist. The cummerbund will keep the BCD from riding up. The reason for keeping the waist strap with buckle looser is that when the BCD expands, it will bring the waist strap closer to the diaphragm. If it is snugged up tightly then it will add pressure to the diaphragm making it more difficult to breathe.
If you have the ergonomically designed jacket style BCD (identified by having one or two quick release buckles on the front shoulder) the bulk of the air in the bladder is on the back but it also extends the bladder around the waist. With this style of BCD it may be just a matter of how you are putting it on. When this style of BCD, you should begin by loosening the adjustable should straps. This makes the BCD easier to get on. When the BCD is on your back and your buddy is holding it for you, follow this sequence:
1. If there is a velcro cummerbund snug that up as much as you can.
2.Connect the waist strap buckle and like the full jacket keep it looser
3. If you have a chest strap (which would be located in the area of the nipples when the BCD is on.) connect it and make that as snug as possible.
4 Pull down on the adjustable shoulder straps so they are as snug as possible.
The chest strap is designed to pull the shoulder straps closer together so the shoulder straps don't slide off the diver's shoulder.
Once you are in the water you may have to pull the shoulder adjustment straps a little bit more for fine tuning the adjustment.

There is the possibility of the BCD is riding up if the diver is over weighted. Having too much weight means more air is required in the BCD. At the surface, being over weighted with a full BCD will cause the BCD to ride up more than being neutrally weighted at the start. The weight want to pull you down more and the more air you add at the surface to compensate the more the BCD will ride.
I personally prefer the back mount BCDs myself , because there is less chance of getting squeezed because the bladder isn't pulling on the straps. Should you decide on a back inflate BCD you will hate it for about 6 dives because you will be adjusting to it. After that you will (hopefully) love it.

You mentioned that you don't fit into a smaller BCD. If it is a girth issue rather than the jacket just not fitting, then you might want to see if there are any extenders that can be put on an otherwise fitting smaller BCD.

Solution focused therapists understand that many customers come to his office waiting (and sometimes feared) to have to tell the story of his problem, with a detailed history of why they are and how they ™ € I have come to themselves in such situations. A solution focused on the therapist anticipates clients after leaving the office the first session often saying things like â € IAEA € ™ m so relieved I didnâ t ™ € I have to tell my life ™ € s history, â € and â € OEI didnâ € ™ t think I'ma € ™ d be doing something about it and soon.â €
This is due to the concentrated solution therapy (SFT) is philosophically different from the psychodynamic therapies that have evolved since Freud € ™ s emphasis on repression and the unconscious. SFT emphasizes the change from the beginning. There is little emphasis on â € € œhows and whysâ the problem, not all posts in the labeling œpathology â €, â € and â pay more attention to € œwhat will be different when the therapy is over.â €
Although SFT is unique in many ways, itâ € ™ s important to identify the various truths that cover all therapeutic models:
 • The research shows most clients benefit from therapy of any kind.
 · Unless customers feel connected to their therapist, therapy is of little value.
 · Whatever the model, the therapist uses, no matter how brilliant he or she is, the most important variable in therapy is what the client brings. If shea € ™ s opinion, the change occurs ease, if not, itâ € ™ s struggle.
If your therapist does the following he / she is focused on solutions.
A solution · Therapists Focused (SFTS) are pragmatic and focus on helping to alleviate the problem.
 · SFTS clients think they know more about what they need.
 · SFTS emphasis on present and future.
SFTS support  · clients exploit the strengths and resources they bring to therapy.
 · SFTS believe that change is inevitable and can occur quickly and spontaneously.
 · SFT has customers and, literally, at face value.
 · TSP looks for small and measurable change, often in behavior.
