what is the best brand to use overall in a kitchen between electrolux, thermador, dacor, and jenn-air?

I'm in the process of designing a home for myself and would like to know what the most reliable/reputable brands are in higher-end appliances. I'm familiar with Viking, Sub-Zero, Wolf, and others, but would like to know where Electrolux, Jenn-Air, Thermador, and Dacor rank.
In an effort to keep the look uniform, I'm hoping to buy one brand throughout with the exception of dishwasher (Bosch). I may be willing to make a further exception with the refrigerator (possibly Sub-Zero). When using Consumer Reports for recommendations, the top choices for each category are from different companies. My main concerns are the following: uniform appeal, energy efficiency, and most importantly...reliability. If anyone has had experiences with any of the "higher end" appliances, I'd love to hear your feedback.

Jenn-Air is the top of the line stuff you will find at most appliance places. Remember that you don't usually find things like Sub-Zero and Viking at "most" places.

Wheeled Scuba
this happened after my scuba lesson last week.

I met this lovely girl at the scuba academy and we got on really well. We decided to go and play a game of golf at the golf course. Now, its not easy to walk wearing flippers at the best of times and golf involves a lot of walking, so I hired a golf buggy.
Now Im not the best driver on earth but I try really hard sometimes, and we were just finished at the 11th hole when my phone rang and I became distracted. I just assumed that she had got into the cart, or at least out of the way of it. But as it turned out, she was trying to put her club back into the bag and didnt notice I was reversing the buggy. It was my friend Wayne on the phone and we were discussing what we were doing on the weekend, so I had to take the call. Unbeknownst to me, she had fallen in front of the wheel, and the buggy went straight over her head. I wasnt sure what to do, so I took the buggy back and went home.
If anybody asks, dont tell them I was at the golf course okay.

Scuba Large Diving

What's the best resort that has decent quality Golf & SCUBA diving?

I know this is asking a lot but I would prefer that the resort be in or near the Carribean, Virgin Islands, (E.) Mexico, etc. I would prefer an all-inclusive resort (extra $ for golf & SCUBA is ok but it should be at or near the resort). I am looking for a large group vacation (20-40 people), 1/2 are avid golfers and 1/2 are divers, so both activities should be average quality or better. THANKS

Are you supposed to take your FCS fins off your surfboard before putting it into a day bag?

I just purchased my first surfboard with removable fins, FCS style. Am I supposed to remove them every time I travel with my board in it's bag? If I have to I will, but I want other surfers opinion, since I've got a mixed bag of answer from my friends, thanx guys.

when just moving the board around from my house to my car to the beach and back .. i leave them on (most people do)

but when moving to another house or taking the board on a plane -- definitely remove the fins or they will crack.

Triathlon Wetsuit
What is the best triathlon wetsuit?

The quick answer: whatever fits your budget and feels best.

Everybody's body is different, every manufacturer's suit is different.

I would recommend this plan:

Decide your budget (Prices range from entry level to oh, wow.)
Decide your style of suit:
Do you want full-length and fully sleeved (long john style) or sleeveless or a shorty?
Decide the features that are most important to you.
Don't forget to consider the lifespan of the suit as it relates to your "career" as a triathlete. A good entry level suit can get you pretty far.

So as not to be overwhelmed with choices, I picked three companies to look at: Orca (because of the hot guy in the ad, honestly), Blue Seventy (well-known) and Body Glove. Since I knew squat about any of them, it was as good a method of choosing as any. I also looked around on the internet for opinions about suits and these names came up quite often (very positively so, most of the time).

So I had my three companies.
THEN
I set a budget and prioritized what I was looking for.

Since I am short (5'0) and female (XX) I prioritized my needs like this:

ABSOLUTE PRIORITY:
Fits my budget with the most bang for the buck.
I am an entry-level triathlete. Or almost athlete
I need something that will work and last for the next several seasons becasue it will take time for me to "outgrow" (if ever) the suit.

MUST HAVE:
full (long-john style) suit, since I won't be doing a lot of warm-water races.
a women's specific fit
warantee or guarantee against defects, etc.
Doesn't require complicated care or maintenance.
easy exit, since I'm exciteable and would be a complete
spaz coming out of the water and trying to get the darn
thing off while heading for T1

GOOD TO HAVE:
extended warantee
panels in shoulders to allow for better mobility, since I have some shoulder problems and i don't want to waste effort trying to "power" against the resistance of the suit, esp. in the shoulders

BONUS IF I GET IT, OK IF I DON'T
it would be nice if it had some purple (or pink) in it =)

DON'T REALLY NEED IT
Extra "speed" features, right now, i just want to finish.
Any sort of other "Elite" features that drive up the price point.

I then found a suit (or suits) from each company and made spreadsheets to compare features side-by-side.

I am in the boonies, so I had to order via the internet. I found companies with generous return policies, ordered a couple of suits and tried them on, ultimately selecting one for myself.

All the suits made me look like a little black bratwurst sausage, but I found one I liked (and it made me look like a FAST bratwurst, too!)

However, if you can, go to local shops, do so. You can find places to rent suits, too. This is a good way to try out different kinds.

The base for "size" on a wetsuit is weight and you go from there. The suit should fit snugly (but not strangle-ly) around your neck, the last thing you want is something interfering with your breathing! T should be tight around ankles and wrists. You want to make sure you have enough mobility in the shoulders, so as not to affect your swimming stroke.

Most people (including myself) who don't have the best form in swimming, get a lot of help from the extra buoyancy provided by a suit. Because of this, "pool" triathlons and tri's where the water is generally over 79 degrees don't allow suits. Always check with your race organizer!

There must be some reasons why when it comes to triathlon apparels, it is purely a personal preference of the racer. Well, of course team uniforms mark the exemption. Depending on the agreement or the rulings as imposed by a team, racers are issued or mandated with a single type of uniform. In general, however competitors are allowed with their choice.

What's a great resort over Christmas that has a fantastic white sandy beach and snorkeling?

I'm getting overwhlemed looking for a nice resort for myself, 2 adult kids (boys), brother and his wife for over Christmas. Want a place that's mid-size, safe, 2-4 storey, good entertainment at night, great food, things to do during the day, nice white sandy beach good for swimming and snorkeling. Would like a nice quality place - not cheap. I just got back from the Mayan Riviera and loved the area. Don't want to be near large cities like Cancun or at a place that's got lots of resorts side by side (too busy). It's so confusing looking on the internet and at vacation books. Thanks for any help. I think personal recommendations may help.

Turks and Caicos, St. Martin or St. Thomas.

I have been to almost all of the islands and loved the three of these the most!!!

Also they are all amazing for snorkeling, expecially Turks and Caicos has amazing scuba diving.
